Fede Rios

CEO & Co-Founder

Born in beautiful Uruguay, Fede earned his bachelor’s in jazz performance at the Berklee International Network, and promptly shipped out to work as a showband drummer aboard Carnival Cruise Lines. Soon after that, while living in London, he emailed Sam to insist that they start Lime.

Now Barcelona-based, he spends most of his free time in the mountains, skiing, paragliding, or mountain biking. Passionate about personal growth and all things Lime, he was once able to read fiction — now he can’t read anything without a ‘How To’ in its title.

Fede is a proud dad of two strong-spirited girls. Strong-spirited enough to break a grown, capable man? Oh yes. Routinely.

Sam Rothberg

Director of business Development, & Co-founder

After receiving his bachelor’s in music theory and composition from the University of Pennsylvania, Sam spent the next several years floating on the ocean as a keyboardist and musical director for Carnival. From the day Fede convinced him that this agency thing was actually a good idea, Sam has written an approximate total of 3.4 million work-related emails.

Tangentially related to Lime, he’s also worked on multiple other cruise lines, arranged for companies and vocalists, spoken at universities to promote innovative job opportunities for musicians, and runs his own band, The Dukes, on Martha’s Vineyard; unrelated to anything, he also runs a boxing gym there.

One full decade later, he still falls asleep astoundingly quickly, and has unusual passion for any food involving mayonnaise.

Jess Goodrich
Head of Operations

Trotting in on her trusty steed while playing her saxophone, Jess comes to us from the southern state of Texas. We were never particularly impressed with her until we saw her play Cherokee at 390 BPM riding bareback while at a full gallop.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in jazz studies at the University of North Texas, and thereafter completed a contract on Celebrity in the orchestra before stepping up to Musical Director for a second helping of ship life. Following that, she traded in her horse for a little white dog, and her MD name tag for a music casting role with Lime.

Now she’s galavanting through South America, having traded in her dog for empanadas, and is currently training for the World Salsa Dancing championships. Make us proud and don’t lose! Seriously, don’t lose.

Jamie Tinevez

Head of Experiences

Head of Experiences Jaime hails from Calgary, Canada, and spent much of her twenties working on Carnival as a dancer, which once made her more flexible than the rest of the Lime team combined. But since then, we’ve hired additional dancers to work at Lime HQ, so there goes that claim to fame.

She used to run Lime’s customer support, helping our musicians with requests, questions, and advice, but then one day we thought “Hey, why don’t we actually put her expertise to use?” So she grew Lime on Stage into the powerhouse that it is today! And then we thought “Hey, if she can cast for production shows, why doesn’t she just create them?”

So now she runs our Experiences department, and once she crushes this job, we have a few other issues for her to solve, including teleportation, time travel, and world peace.

She also claims to make amazing cupcakes.

Lau Lucena

Head of Finance

Lau is a one-woman mafia. If you need something, call her. Doesn’t matter what it is. Money? A private jet? 18 elephants? Just give her 24 hours. And for this resourcefulness, as well as countless other reasons, we adore her! We’re also a little afraid of her.

Part of our Argentina division, she spent the better part of a decade based in Hong Kong, running the finances for a magnate’s family firm and traveling the world in the process, before trading in her yuan for pesos and returning home.

Now she’s entrusted with Lime’s cash, keeping our accountants, our team, and her bosses in check. Sam’s gambling problem with the company card? Won’t be much of a problem once Lau handles it. Sam, watch your kneecaps.

Luis Felipe Silveira

Onboarding and Logistics

Rio de Janeiro-born, Luis attended culinary school and has held a variety of jobs since then, including freelance translator and maintenance administrator. He also spent two years as a bartender aboard Royal Caribbean’s ships. When he’s not whipping up new cocktails, Luis can be found playing FIFA as one of the top-rated center backs and air drumming along to Tool.

One-half of our admin tour-de-force, Luis spends his time roundhouse kicking visa deadlines and chasing down port agents for boarding letters. He types at a blistering 439 words per minute, and once stayed awake for 86 hours straight, tracking down a musician’s lost suitcase and ensuring its delivery to the ship.
Mica Filomeni

Onboarding and Logistics

Hailing from Argentina, Mica earned a bachelor’s in social communication and then skipped right out to sea, spending two years on board Royal Caribbean’s ships before returning to the homeland and joining Lime. When she’s not doodling, you may find her smashing Crossfit workouts or recruiting new additions for her Crossfit’s winter-lovers team.

As the other half of our admin juggernaut, Mica takes care of medicals, passports, visas, Seaman’s books, flights, Crossfit, and everything else necessary to ensure that each of our musicians makes it to Crossfit. Sorry, makes it *on board safely.
Also, Crossfit.

Fer Valin

Customer Support

Our guitar-playing, ball-juggling, mate-guzzling chief of support, Fer made La Plata his home a decade ago – just close enough to smell the pastelitos baking in Buenos Aires. After years on the ocean as an orchestra musician, he recently swapped his sea legs and pedalboard for outstretched arms and a laptop, helping our performers shine as bright as stage lights.

In 2019, he actually drank more yerba mate than the entire country of Uruguay. If you ever go to the store and see that they’re all sold out of mate, you know that Fer’s been there. It’s both impressive and frightening.

He also only owns two shirts – but man, are they stylish! Or maybe he just owns ten of each shirt. We’re still not sure.

Lean García

Applications, Music Casting

A small-town boy, Lean took the leap from Bahia Blanca, 9 hours south of Buenos Aires, to the big city. Then he took the leap and auditioned for Lime, and then he took another leap and started sailing the world, performing on cruise ships. And then another leap to become bandleader on board. And then he took the biggest leap yet and became a pole vaulter!

Nah, just kidding — pole vaulting would have been too easy. Instead, his next leaps included moving back to Buenos Aires, buying a baby grand piano, making his own music, and adopting a cat, who now leaps onto the piano. Now Lean works alongside Juli in applications and Pablo in auditions, reviewing performers looking to take the leap just like he did. Lean’s pro tips: a big heart and an open mind. And strong quads.

Tjasa Predan

Production Casting

Tjasa comes to us from Ljubljana, which is harder for us to pronounce than a 64th-note diminished arpeggio run. A trained ballroom dancer, she traded in the verdant vistas of Slovenia for the azure ocean, serving as dance captain on board a Genting cruise ship. There she met her now-partner Dom, another Lime musician, so we can safely take credit for her romantic happiness.

With Dom by her side, Tjasa settled back on dry land, and upon joining Lime’s ranks, she’ll go down in history as employee #1 of our Europe division. She works with Jaime and Anna, reviewing applications and providing support to our cast performers, and since we’re pretty sure she likes her job, we’ll take credit for her happiness there, as well.

Clearly, this is allll part of our master plan. Mwahahahahaha! Ahem, sorry. We’re cool.

Anna Arellano

Production Casting

Our UK representative, Anna comes to us from the rolling hills of Scotland, and was one of Lime’s very first performers — in fact, she was our first vocalist ever hired, way back in 2013! If she had sang badly on board, all of us might not be here today.

It was not long before she found romance in the workplace with her then-musical director and now-husband Chris, and after sailing the seas for seven years, they made the obvious choice of relocating to Ohio. Shortly thereafter, Anna joined the production casting team alongside Jaime — finding vocalists for the main stage, and a best friend in the process! (Hint: it’s Jaime.)

Now she’s the proud mama of baby Calvin, who will either grow up to be a guitarist (like dad) or a vocalist (like mom); either way, he’ll work ships and be repped by Lime. Is it time to feed Calvin haggis yet? Soon, probably, along with his very first kilt.

Juli Percossi

Applications, Music Casting

If Ok Google and Siri had a lovechild, it would be Juli Percossi. Hailing from Buenos Aires, Juli is in charge of applications and social media, reviewing performers and sending them down the path to eventually become part of our top-notch roster. We used to joke that he can smell talent a mile away, but then we tested him and he can actually smell it from 4.7 miles away.

Juli’s incredible time management and organizational skills come from years of drumming, but his secret weapon –from which all of his mojo is derived – is none other than his majestic mustache. Legend has it that a tone-deaf man once touched it and immediately broke into Mozart’s Don Giovanni! But then he shaved it and didn’t lose his mojo. So we’re confused.

Jazelle

Head of Music Ops and Booker

Introducing Jazelle, our music booker hailing from the Pacific Northwest! They say ‘Keep Portland Weird’, and we hope Jazelle is no exception, though she seems pretty normal so far. We’re assuming she has deep, dark secrets, and we’re going to dig until we find them, even though HR is telling us to stay out of it.

We hired Jazelle largely because of her name. Firstly, it sounds like a rare animal you might encounter on safari, and here at Lime, we support endangered species. Secondly, it almost has the word ‘jazz’ in it. See, jazz is dead. But jaz is hip.

Just like Jess, she’s a saxophone-wielding MD with lots of ship experience, which means that the secret lab creating these musical Fembots is worth every cent we pay them. Soon, the entirety of Lime HQ will be replaced by female horn-playing robots, and honestly, we’re pretty excited about it.
Kate

Lime On Stage Booker

Let’s all say “G’day mate!” to Kate, our Aussie Lime on Stage booker, but we’ll try to avoid cultural cliches from here on out.

Kate’s parents are actually a crocodile and a stingray, and she was raised by a pack of kangaroos who taught her all about step-ball changes and pirouettes until she was ready to tour the world as a dancer.

With her trusty boomerang in hand, she hopped from dance captain aboard cruise ships to Warner Brothers Gold Coast – and from Bollywood movies in India to choreographing shows in China – before settling down in LA with her pet dingo and eventually joining the ranks of Lime.

With a Foster’s in one hand and a vegemite sandwich in the other, Kate is still somehow able to write emails, take calls, and book performers on ships around the world, and every time she lands a new contract, we chant “Oi, oi, oi!” We can be pretty annoying sometimes.
Pato

Customer Support

Pato hails from the mythical land of Wilde. Which isn’t actually mythical at all, but no one’s had the heart to tell him yet. He also still believes in the tooth fairy.

Señor Lugano was once the backbone of a shipboard orchestra, sitting behind the drum kit. Even more impressively, he was a valued member of the Dining and Crew Welfare Committee. We’re still not really sure why he decided to leave that cushy seafaring life and join Lime HQ to run support, and we often double-check with him about it, but he’s usually playing PS5 and doesn’t answer. This drummer, pianist, vocalist, gamer, and woodworker is a total overachiever, despite his poor choices in life. On his last contract, he ran a marathon at the Paris Airport with that trusty PS5 on his back. His prize? A flight back home.
Alex

Social Media Manager

Alex Garcia, our social media manager who hails from the vibrant city of Morelia, Mexico, is a dynamic force in the realms of digital marketing and content creation. Blah blah blah. We still didn’t let him join Lime until we found out he was also a drummer.

And not just any drummer — a drummer who draws his inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Lamb of God. You know, angry music.

Now Alex funnels his angst and anger into Instagram post after Instagram post, furiously marketing Lime to the digital world with such aplomb and expertise that it also makes us angry.

Spanning photography, video, film, and music, Alex posseses an insatiable love for all things audio and visual, but what about the sense of smell? The next frontier of marketing, Alex! Channel that creativity and get to work! Can’t wait to get a whiff of next week’s TikTok videos you’re cooking up. Mmm.
Sam Thoburn

Vocal Specialist

We hired Sam Thoburn mostly to make Sam Rothberg feel bad about himself. Sam Thoburn has a British accent, far superior to Sam’s lame American one. Sam Thoburn is younger. More vibrant. Nicer. Worked on Celebrity for longer. Is a two-time World Tap Dance Champion! American Sam didn’t even win once. Sam T also claims to play the piano, write faster emails, eat more mayonnaise, and fall asleep faster than US Sam, and based on his stellar performance on the job so far, we believe him. Sam R, you’re done. Washed up. Nobody at Lime even remembers you anymore. Oh, and Sam Thoburn also runs our vocal department as well as LOS support, providing opportunities and assistance for the many fabulous singers and dancers on roster. Luckily, Sam R never had either of those jobs, but if he did, we assume Sam T would be doing them better now. Stop crying, Sam R! It’s distracting.
