Variety Acts

Jugglers? Yep. Magicians? Sure. Acrobats? Yep. From contortionists to ventriloquists, we’re always on the lookout for the next great act. Show us your talents on the big stage and let’s get that ball rolling!

Comedians

The comedy club circuit is there for cutting your teeth. Cruise ships are where you level up. We’re always looking for comics who have 90+ minutes of clean material, with the versatility to crack up even the most diverse of demographics. Send us videos of your stand-up, and let’s graduate you to an ocean view!

Vocalists

We don’t just want singers. We want frontmen and women who can light up a crowd with their stage presence as well as their incredible vocals! Rock and soul chops are a must; jazz and blues encouraged; and a wide repertoire that reflects these styles is essential. Let us see what you’ve got!

Unconventional Acts

Does your group not fit into any of our other categories – but you’re pretty sure you’ll still blow our minds? We’re all about it. Apply and enlighten us.

Trumpet

Trumpets must have excellent reading skills and either a screaming high lead register, or tasty jazz improv skills, although no complaints if you can do both. If you love emulating Maynard and Clifford, then we’d love to have you on the team.

Trombone

Bones must be great readers, possess a keen awareness of dynamics and phrasing, and solo nicely over jazz and blues. If your dream job is straddling Broadway, Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, and a swingin’ combo gig on the side, sign yourself up!

Trios

It’s the age of the trio! We source all different kinds: soul (piano, bass, horn), folk (guitar, fiddle, bass), rock (guitar, bass, drums), and more. All must include at least one lead vocalist. Grab your two buddies, slide on over to our apply page, and unveil your sweet sounds!

Sax

Alto and tenor saxophonists must be top-notch readers, killer improvisers, and obsessive about articulation and phrasing. Must double on flute and clarinet. If you’re working in the West End but missing soloing over Trane changes, apply this minute.

Piano Bar

Piano bar entertainers are the ultimate human jukebox, performing everyone’s favorite sing-alongs until the early hours of the morning. You are truly there to entertain — banter and crowd rapport are just as important as the songs you sing. If your act is a combination of Billy Joel, Elton John, contemporary pop, rap, country, Broadway, and Freddie Mercury, give us a shout!

Party Bands

4-piece party bands must include drums, bass, at least one chordal instrument, and at least two vocalists (although the more vocals, the merrier). 5 and 6-piece bands boast an additional lead vocalist. If your band can jump from Motown to country to ‘80’s rock to Beyonce without breaking a sweat, get over to out apply page pronto!

Mainstream Duos

We’re always looking for duos where both members play an instrument and both sing. Instrumentation can vary – keys, bass, guitar, percussion – but both members must provide excellent vocals to he mix. Duos can either be acoustic, play along to backing tracks, or do both! If you can cover all the genres – Motown to oldies to tock to contemporary – while adding your own fresh twist, then this gig is for you!

Latin Ensembles

We hire duos, trios and quartets where each member plays an instrument (usually keys, bass, or percussion, although other instruments are welcome), and just as importantly, everyone sings. Backing tracks encouraged. High-energy mandatory. If you play it all – salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata – sign up and show us what you’ve got!

Keyboards

Keyboardists must be excellent readers, strong improvisers, and comp over everything from ‘80s pop to big band jazz. If you can’t decide whether your dream job is to music direct on Broadway or become the next Cory Henry, visit our apply page immediately.

Jazz Ensembles

Trios and quarters welcome! All groups must have drums, bass (or key-bass), at least one chordal instrument, and at least one vocalist; musician-vocalists and multi-instrumentalists ideal! Repertoire should include straight-ahead jazz and Latin, jazzy renditions of pop tunes, and some light pop and blues. Bring the spirit of the Vanguard to the middle of the ocean!

Instrumentalists

Sometimes cruise lines have a need for solo instrumentalists: pianists, guitarists, violinists, saxophonists, and more. These performers must be just as engaging — boasting a wide and varied repertoire, bantering with the crowd, eagerly taking requests, and owning the stage. If you can capture a crowd with just your instrument, show us!

Guitar Soloists

Guitar soloists bring the best of Dylan, Neil Young, the Beatles, and then add their twist on classic rock, ‘80’s, R&B, country and pop tunes. The ability to turn any venue into a sign-along pub is an essential part of the job. Loopers, harmonizers, harmonicas, and other gadgets are all welcome. If mash-ups, impromptu conga lines, and The Proclaimers sound like your cup of tea, hit us up!

Guitar

Guitarists must have strong reading skills, great rock improv chops, and a ton of stylistic versatility. If you like shredding solos a la Van Halen but also building chord solos a la Wes Montgomery, sign on up!

Drums

Drummers must have great reading skills, as well as the versatility to lead a band through songs in every genre under the sun: rock, pop, jazz, funk, Latin, and more. If you think of yourself as the lovechild of Steve Jordan, Buddy Rich and Jeff Porcaro, this is your gig.

Country Acts

Ain’t the whole wide world just one big country song? We need duos, trios, quartets and 5-piece brands with a deep knowledge and appreciation of country new and old – from Willie and Merle all the way to Keith, Brad, and Kenny. Whether you’re boasting pearl snap fasteners or just blue jeans, a white t-shirt and a cowboy hat, mosey on over to our apply page and give us a taste of what you can do.

Classical Ensembles

We’re always on the lookout for duos, trios, and quartets that can follow up Vivaldi with the theme to Pirates of the Caribbean. If you can merge the classic with the contemporary and perform it all like rock stars, come join our team and turn a ship into your own personal Carnegie Hall.

Caribbean Ensembles

Caribbean soloists are steel plan players who jam out to a repertoire of pop, reggae, and calypso music, using backing tracks; vocals are a plus, but not required. Duos add a second instrumentalist (usually keys or bass) who also can sing lead. Sign up, and bring island vibes out to sea!

Circus Performers

From contortion duos and solo foot jugglers to aerialists and hand-to-hand balancing duos – we want it all! On some lines, you’ll be performing your own stand-alone act; on others, you’ll be featured in the production shows.

Dancers

Performing everything from classic showgirl productions – complete with feather backpacks and 3” heels – to commercial jazz and hip-hop shows, dancers these days need to be versatile.

Singer – Dancers

Pirouettes and vibrato? Great kicks and great range? Many cruise lines now have tracks for performers who sing and dance at an advanced level. We’re looking for the double-threats a head above the rest.

Bass

Bassists must have excellent reading skills and the versatility to perform rock, pop, jazz, funk, Latin, and more. Upright skills are a plus. If you like playing along to Tower of Power records and then listening to Christian McBride, this gig’s probably for you.

Headliner – Guest Lecturer

Are you a storyteller, expert, or adventurer with the ability to captivate a room? Headliner Guest Lecturers share their knowledge and passion with an engaged audience, diving deep into fascinating topics that entertain, educate, and inspire. From history buffs to travel enthusiasts, you’ll connect with guests eager to learn from the best. If you’ve got a story to tell or expertise to share, the stage is yours!

Technicians on stage, highlighting cruise ship jobs.

Technicians

Sound techs! Light techs! Stage managers! Automation whizzes! Riggers! Cruise ships are in constant need of experienced technicians for the plethora of production shows, musical acts, TV specials, LED screens, and other daily events on board. If you’ve worked in theater or the circus, mixed live bands, produced big shows, or run similar projects, we’d love to help you bring your expertise to the high seas.

Host performing on stage, highlighting opportunities for cruise ship jobs.

Hosts

From running trivia to emceeing deck party to promoting events along the promenade, hosts embody the spirit of the ship and share it will all the guests. Mic skills and an extroverted personality are musts. If you’re all about connecting with people, connect with us and let’s make a ship gig happen.

DJs

Equal parts music-mixologist and host, we’re always on the lookout for DJs with extensive knowledge of styles (Latin, hip hop, disco, pop, and more), technical prowess with Pioneer gear, and super-outgoing personalities who are great on the mic. If bonding with every guest on board and then getting them to boogie down on the dance floor is your idea of a great time, then we’ve got the gig for you.

Hear it from our DJs. And techs. And hosts.

WOW! I can’t remember any agency in a long time having this kind of strike rate!! Hallelujah! An agent that does not just blanket submit and knows how to select talent!
