Are you a ship musician with some administrative experience who wants to move to a land-based gig?

Or maybe you’ve been working for a large corporation but would prefer a small, close-knit team where you’re trusted and cared for — all while working from home.

If so, this job is for you!

About Lime

We’re a talent agency specializing in cruise ship entertainment. We recruit musicians, dancers, and many other types of performers worldwide, and place them on cruise ships.

We’re a team of young enthusiasts who believe in constant growth, driven by our purpose: helping performers change their lives for the better and reach their full potential.

Want to join us?

What will you learn on this job?

We work for the biggest cruise lines in the world: gigantic corporations that run a tight ship (fine — many ships). Our operations at Lime are second to none, because serving an industry this logistically complex means we have to excel. You’ll operate at a very high standard.

You’ll learn how to get organized and stay organized while meeting the needs of 20+ cruise line and theme park partners, each with its own outlets.

The key to each of those partners is held by a handful of people: the cruise line bookers. They decide which performer from which agency gets hired — they’re the gatekeepers. If we had to sum up your job in one sentence, it would be “make their lives easier.” You’ll speak with them daily, learn to connect at different levels, speak their language, understand their needs, and bring them solutions.

Coming from the cruise ship world, you probably know that each cruise line has different musical products matched to its brand and target demographic. You’ll learn all of it — you need that knowledge to cast the right musician or band for the right cruise line. And you’ll learn to present performers in the most flattering light, giving them the best possible chance of being hired.

In short: you’ll learn the ins and outs of the cruise ship world from the other side — how we operate at Lime, and what gives us our edge.

About you

These are the qualities we’re looking for:

  • Cruise ship experience as a musician. You’ll need at least one full contract completed on board.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. We hold a high standard for both written and verbal communication.
  • Administrative experience. You’re comfortable managing multiple tasks, following processes, and maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Available from October 15th, 2026, on land. In case it isn’t already clear: this is not a side job you can do from a ship.
  • Comfortable with AI and technology. We embrace technology at Lime, and you should be confident using AI tools to work more efficiently and solve problems.
  • Based in South America. This is a fully remote position, but we are currently hiring candidates who reside in South America — ideally in Colombia or Argentina.

It would be a plus if you have:

  • Experience with some of the tools we use: Claude, FileMaker, Notion and Slack.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Full-time position.
    • 40 hours a week, though it doesn’t have to be strictly 9 to 5 — everyone on the team gets some flexibility with work hours. You will, however, be working during USA EST business hours.
  • Casting:
    • Assess talent pre-screened by our Applications team and decide which cruise line(s) they’d be a perfect fit for.
    • Do your due diligence before offering a contract. We always call a performer before offering them a contract, to confirm they’re right for that specific contract and cruise line and that they meet all the requirements to join a ship.
  • Placement of talent:
    • Coordinate with our Applications team to gather all the necessary information about new hires.
    • Check in monthly with our talent to stay up to date on their availability and their requests for future contracts.
    • Coordinate with our Onboarding & Logistics team to make sure every performer can and will be processed in time.
    • Offer and confirm contracts. Offering someone their very first ship contract is one of the most gratifying things we get to do.
    • Own both re-hire and new-hire numbers. You’ll carry targets for contracts confirmed with our existing musician clients and with new ones.
  • Management and care for our B2B accounts:
    • Constant communication with the cruise lines’ bookers. Presenting new talent, discussing scheduling for performers we’ve already placed, and solving problems on the go — Zoom calls, phone chats, emails, and more.
    • Visits to the cruise line offices. You’ll travel to Florida and LA a couple of times a year to meet the cruise line bookers in person.
  • General team collaboration and other role responsibilities.
    • Weekly team meetings. We’re a remote company, so this is how we stay updated and aligned across departments.
    • Oversee our Applications team, making sure they have everything they need to excel at their job.

Job perks:

  • Fully remote position.
  • Salary in US dollars, plus a revenue-based commission scheme.
  • End-of-year incentive opportunities.
  • Room to move up within a growing company.
  • 15 working days of PTO per year, plus the 11 US federal holidays — 26 working days off in total.
  • After a year with us you become eligible for our UIOLI program. Use It Or Lose It Friday: every month you get a Friday off to enjoy a long weekend and decompress — bringing you to 38 days off a year!
  • Encouragement to grow and upskill. We’ll pay for any course you’d like to take, as long as it relates to what you do at Lime.

Where will you work?

We all work remotely, scattered around the globe — Barcelona to Martha’s Vineyard, Buenos Aires to Ljubljana, Los Angeles to Bogotá.

Working remotely has serious benefits:

  • You do your job from home, in your pajamas.
  • Your commute is about 30 seconds long, from your bedroom to your office or living room.
  • You get to cook yourself a tasty, healthy lunch and eat it with your family or partner, or in the peaceful quiet of your own home.
  • …you get the point.

It can also be challenging:

  • Work-life balance: without a clear split between work and home, the line gets blurry.
  • If you’ve got a family — especially kids — that can be very distracting.
  • You need to be driven and focused to avoid getting pulled into chores and other obligations.
  • …you get the point.

The most important thing about working remotely with us is this: at Lime, our work philosophy is based on outcome and trust.

Nobody will be checking whether you’re sitting in front of your computer — we trust that you’re doing your very best. We do measure everyone’s output, but less to assess individual performance and more to make sure we’re on track with our goals and targets.

💡There’s a ton of trust placed in every member of the Lime team. Without it, we simply can’t function.
