About Lime

We’re a talent agency specializing in cruise ship entertainment. We recruit musicians, dancers, and many other types of performers worldwide, and place them on cruise ships.

We’re a team of young enthusiasts who believe in constant growth, driven by our purpose: helping performers change their lives for the better, and to achieve their full potential.

What will you learn in this job?

We work with some of the world’s largest cruise lines and entertainment operators—organizations that demand precision, consistency, and excellence. Supporting an industry this complex requires world-class operations, and that’s exactly what you’ll learn at Lime.

You’ll develop exceptional organizational skills while managing the onboarding and logistics needs of performers across 15+ cruise line and themed entertainment clients, each with their own unique requirements and procedures.

Within the industry, Lime has earned a reputation for operational excellence. Our team is often consulted by clients themselves when navigating particularly complex onboarding and compliance situations.

Over time, you’ll become an expert in cruise ship logistics, gaining specialized knowledge of visas, medical requirements, certifications, STCW training, vaccinations, and international travel regulations across different nationalities, ships, flags, and ports around the world.

In short, you’ll gain a unique skill set and deep expertise in one of the most complex logistics environments in the entertainment industry.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and genuinely enjoys helping people navigate complex processes.

Requirements

  • Cruise ship experience. You have either completed at least one full contract onboard and understand the realities of life at sea, or you have administrative experience working for a cruise ship agency. Either way, this isn’t your first exposure to the industry.
  • Excellent English communication skills. You are fluent in English and can communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Administrative experience. You’re comfortable managing multiple tasks, following processes, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with AI and technology. We embrace technology at Lime, and you should be confident using AI tools to work more efficiently and solve problems.
  • Based in Colombia 🇨🇴 . This is a fully remote position, but we are currently hiring candidates who reside in Colombia.
  • Availability for weekend coverage. This role includes on-call weekend shifts as part of the team’s rotation.
  • Core schedule with flexibility. This role has a consistent core schedule of 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (GMT-5). However, there will be occasions when you’ll need to work later hours to support operational needs. When this happens, you’ll have the flexibility to adjust your schedule and work fewer hours on another day to maintain balance.
Please note: The standard weekday schedule is 6 hours per day. This reduced weekday schedule is designed to balance the on-call weekend coverage that is part of the role.

Bonus Points

  • Leadership experience. You’ve previously managed people, projects, or workflows and are comfortable taking ownership and guiding others.
  • Experience with our tech stack. Familiarity with tools such as FileMaker, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Cruise ship logistics experience. Experience with visas, medicals, travel coordination, onboarding, or crew administration will help you hit the ground running.

Role & Responsibilities

As an Onboarding & Logistics Specialist, you will ensure performers successfully transition from contract acceptance to arriving onboard fully prepared and compliant. You will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the onboarding journey, helping performers navigate documentation, travel arrangements, deadlines, and client requirements.

Onboarding & Performer Support

  • Guide performers through the onboarding process from offer acceptance to embarkation.
  • Communicate requirements, deadlines, and next steps clearly and proactively.
  • Answer performer questions and provide support throughout their journey.
  • Monitor progress and follow up to ensure all onboarding milestones are completed on time.

Travel & Documentation

  • Coordinate flights, hotels, ground transportation, and travel itineraries.
  • Verify that required documents (passports, visas, medicals, contracts, certificates, etc.) are complete and submitted on time.
  • Ensure compliance with client-specific requirements and onboarding procedures.
  • Assist in resolving travel disruptions and last-minute logistical challenges.

Coordination & Operations

  • Maintain accurate records and onboarding status within Lime’s systems.
  • Collaborate with Casting, Operations, and Client teams to ensure performers are sign-on ready.
  • Identify risks early, escalate issues when needed, and help improve internal processes.

A Note About Weekend Coverage

Because our performers and clients operate around the world, issues occasionally arise outside of regular business hours. To ensure we provide the level of service we’re known for, you will participate in an every-other-weekend on-call rotation.

Being on call does not mean working the entire weekend. Some weekends are quiet, some not so much – you must be available to respond when urgent situations arise.

This is a core requirement of the role and is not optional. If you are not comfortable participating in an every-other-weekend on-call rotation, this position is not the right fit for you.

Success in This Role

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communicator with strong customer service skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and calm under pressure.
  • Passionate about creating a positive experience for performers.

At Lime, our goal is simple: make the onboarding experience seamless so performers can focus on what they do best while we handle the logistics.

Job perks:

  • Remote position.
  • Salary in US dollars.
  • End-of-year performance bonuses.
  • Upward movement within a growing company.
  • 15 working days of PTO per year, plus the 11 days of US federal holidays, for a total of 26 working days off.
  • Personal growth and up-skill-ing encouragement. We’ll pay for any course you’d like to take, as long as it’s related to what you do at Lime.

Where will you work?

We all work remote, scattered around the globe from Barcelona to Martha’s Vineyard, Buenos Aires to Ohio, etc.

Working remotely has some serious benefits:

  • You do your job from home, in your pajamas.
  • Your commute is about 30 seconds long, from your bedroom to your office/living room.
  • You get to have a tasty and healthy lunch that you prepare yourself, and then eat it with your family / partner / in the peaceful quiet of your own home.
  • … you get the point.

But it can also be a bit challenging.

  • Work-life balance: the lack of a clear split between the work and home environment can be difficult to manage.
  • If you’ve got a family — especially kids — all that can be very distracting.
  • You need to be driven and focused to avoid distractions with other house chores and obligations.
  • …you get the point!

The most crucial factor about working remote is this: at Lime, we have a work philosophy that’s based on outcome and trust.

This means that nobody will be checking on you to see if you’re in front of the computer or not – we trust you’re doing your very best. But we also measure everybody’s output. It’s less about assessing individual performance, and more to make sure we’re on track with our goals and targets.

Apply by filling out this short form.

Due to the volume of applications we receive, we’ll only be able to contact candidates whose experience closely matches our current requirements.

Thanks for applying to this role at Lime.

Good luck!
